Silence

When Ignorance Shouts, Wisdom Stays Silent

"When ignorance raises its voice, wisdom chooses to remain silent."

Before reaching the lion's court, where the lion was sitting on his throne, the donkey began shouting:

"Your Highness, isn't it true that the grass is blue?"

The lion replied: Once, a donkey said to a fox:

"The grass is blue."

The fox replied:

"No, the grass is green."

The argument heated up, and they decided to take the issue to arbitration. So, they went to the king of the jungle, the lion.

"True, the grass is blue."

The donkey quickly said:

"The fox disagrees with me, opposes me, and mocks me. Please punish her."

The king then announced:

"The fox will be punished with one month of silence."

The donkey happily jumped and went on his way, satisfied and repeating:

"The grass is blue."

The fox accepted her punishment but asked the lion before leaving:

"Your Majesty, why did you punish me? After all, you know the grass is green."

The lion replied:

"Indeed, the grass is green."

The fox asked:

"Then why are you punishing me?"

The lion answered:

"It has nothing to do with whether the grass is blue or green. The punishment is because it is not fitting for an intelligent creature like you to waste time arguing with a donkey and to disturb the king and the rest of the court with such a question."

Remember!

The greatest waste of time is arguing with a fool or fanatic who doesn't care about truth or reality but only believes in their own opinions and illusions of victory.

Don't waste your time on meaningless arguments.

There are people who, no matter how much evidence and proof we present, will never understand the truth. Others, blinded by ego, hatred, and resentment, will refuse to accept that they are wrong.

Keep this in mind...

When ignorance shouts, wisdom stays silent.

Your peace and silence are more valuable.
